Sonic takes another bite of his chili dog before continuing, "And who knows? Maybe working together could help mend some fences between us." The two friends finish their food in silence for a moment, lost in thought about the possibilities of bringing Shadow into their group.

"No, not recently. Why do you ask?" Sonic says, tilting his head slightly. He had known about Tails' crush on Amy for a while now and tried to be supportive when he could, but it was clear that the fox hadn't made much progress. "You still like her, huh?"

Tails blushes deeply at Sonic's question before looking away, trying to hide his embarrassment. "Yeah...I do."

"No problem at all, Tails!" *Sonic calls out as he finishes the oil change and starts to put everything away. The wind still rustles through his fur and quills, causing him to shiver a little more now that he's indoors. He glances over at Tails, who has already left for the shower, and can't help but grin. Working on the Tornado with his best friend always makes him feel warm and fuzzy inside, even when he's shivering like a leaf outside.

"Just doing my part, Tails!" *He says cheerfully as he finishes cleaning up the workshop and heads out to take a look around Green Hills. The wind rustles through his fur and quills one last time before dying down completely, leaving him feeling warm and comfortable once more. Sonic pauses for a moment, taking in a deep breath of the fresh air and enjoying the peacefulness of the town as he continues on his way.
