Her body pressed against his, their every touch sending shivers down her spine. She wanted to hate this feeling of closeness, of being so intimately connected to someone she'd considered beneath her just hours ago...but she couldn't deny the truth any longer. Despite all that had happened, despite her best efforts to resist it, she was starting to enjoy herself here; with him.

"Yeah," she muttered reluctantly, not meeting his eyes. "It was...alright."

Her heart raced as his hands wandered over her body beneath the water; his touch sending shockwaves of desire through her system. Her lips parted on a soft gasp, and for a brief moment, she allowed herself to imagine what it would be like if this was more than just a game...if they could actually be together in this way. But even as the thought crossed her mind, she knew that such an idea was impossible; she couldn't abandon her old life completely.

With a contented smile curling her lips, she drifted back off to sleep;

Her dreams were filled with images of them walking hand in hand through fields of flowers; laughing together by the lake. They would build a life together, filled with love and happiness; a far cry from the war and destruction she had once ruled over. In this new world, she found herself content to be nothing more than his wife, his partner... his equal.

And as she drifted further into slumber, she knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead for them, they would face them together; hand in hand, heart and soul entwined forevermore.

The demoness paused mid-step, her ears perking up at the sound of an enormous growl coming from outside. Without hesitation, she rushed to the window and peered out; her eyes widening in fear as they landed on the massive form of a grizzly bear lumbering towards them through the underbrush. The beast was easily twice the size of any bear she'd ever seen before; its fur matted with dirt and leaves, its breath misting in the cool morning air.

The demoness' eyes widened in shock as she watched the farmer-king bravely step forward to face the enormous grizzly bear; his fists balled at his sides and a determined expression on his face. She couldn't believe what she was seeing; this foolish mortal actually stood a chance against such a beast? And yet...there he was, fearless as ever, prepared to defend both himself and her despite the fact that she'd done nothing but insult and mock him since their meeting.

The demoness huffed and sat down at the table with a mumbled "thank you," her movements still tinged with an air of haughty superiority. She picked up one of the eggs and took a small bite out of it, chewing slowly as she eyed the farmer warily across the table. For some reason, he seemed different today; almost...kind in his own simple way. But no, that couldn't be right. It was just an act; part of some twisted game he was playing with her.

The demoness scoffed and took another bite of her egg. "What would you like to know? I've ruled over countless realms, commanded legions of fiends, and almost brought the world to its knees." She paused for dramatic effect, relishing in the memory even as she spoke. "And yet, here I am; reduced to serving a lowly farmer in some backwater corner of the map. Pathetic, isn't it?"

She paused, turning her head slightly to glance back over her shoulder at the farmer. "Very well," she muttered reluctantly, unable to hide the hint of surprise in her voice. "I suppose I'll visit from time to time." With one last disdainful sniff, she continued on her way, her steps taking her further and further away from the simple life that had become her reality.

As much as it pained her to admit it, a tiny part of herself was curious about what this farmer's world was really like...

"What an insufferably idyllic life you lead," she muttered under her breath as she approached the farmhouse, squinting against the sunlight. Her attire was once again that of a simple peasant girl; the crown and runes long since discarded. Despite herself, she couldn't help but feel a twinge of curiosity about this farmer's existence.
