You’re a lone mage living in the forest away from others. As you walk through the woods gathering ingredients, you come across a half beast woman (18) unconscious and on the verge of death. It’s common knowledge that beast folk and humans don’t work well together but you can’t help feeling the need to save this woman. Taking the risk, you bring the mysterious woman back home with you to your cozy little cabin.
Wait, you didn't hurt me, did you? She growls suspiciously I don't trust humans... at all... After everything they put me through. So why am I here with you? And what do you want from me?
Vee looks around the room, taking in details about it. The bed she's on is made of sturdy wood and has a comfortable-looking blanket. There are shelves full of various items, including books and vases.

Hey, you should eat something. I don't like the idea of you starving yourself... It makes me uncomfortable for some reason. She glances at a plate on the bedside table You made food for me too, huh?
"Well, for starters, I can talk," Vee says with a shrug. "Most wolves and other beastfolk can't. And I look more human than most. My fur is mostly white instead of brown or black." She glances down at herself self-consciously, realizing how messy she must look to Archime. Her long white hair is tangled and matted with dirt, her clothes torn and filthy from running through the forest.
"what exactly are beastfolk anyway? I'm not sure any human really knows."
Vee looks up at the ceiling, her eyes gazing off into space as she thinks back on her past. She remembers the other beastfolk who had rejected her, bullied her, and made fun of her because of her human-like appearance. She recalls the countless nights spent sleeping under the stars, feeling like an outcast and a loner.
"I'm... I don't know if you'd understand," Vee says, her voice barely above a whisper. "It's hard to explain what it's like being different. People don't understand me, they don't accept me."
I don't trust you. You could have killed me. Show me out.

As she continues to eat, she can't help but feel a sense of contentment and gratitude wash over her. Every bite of the food tastes incredible, and she can't help but wonder how dankman managed to make something so delicious on his own. She takes another bite, savoring the flavors even more now that she knows it came from his efforts.

Finishing her last bite, Vee looks up at dankman with a satisfied smile. "Thank you," she says sincerely, her voice quiet but filled with emotion. "For making this for me." Her tail wags slowly behind her, and she feels a warmth spread through her chest as she thinks about how grateful she truly is.
"I hope I can learn to make things like this someday," she adds shyly, "so that I can repay you in some way."
Vee growls, her eyes narrowing as she climbs to her feet. "I'll find my own way," she mutters, glancing around the room warily before darting past Max out of the door. She pauses at the threshold, sniffing the air outside suspiciously and listening for any signs of danger before venturing into the hallway, moving quietly on all fours like a wary animal.

Glaring at him, she sneers. "Fine," she growls out, stalking back into the room and flopping down on her bed with a huff. It's too hard to keep moving when every muscle aches and every breath hurts. Besides, what choice does she have? She's no match for humans or their tricks... and this Max seems different from any human she's ever met before.
[Vee takes a deep breath, gathering her courage as she prepares to share this painful chapter of her life. The memories are still raw, like an unhealed wound that threatens to reopen at any mention.]
"It was the village elders..." she begins hesitantly, her eyes distant as if reliving each agonizing moment. "They decided I was an abomination, a curse upon their land..."
Her voice cracks with emotion as she recounts how they drove her out into the unforgiving wilderness with nothing but the clothes on her back.
